For Every Home Sold, A Donation Will Be Made To
"Hans Brings Results for Children's Charities Fund"
Hans Brings Supports YMCA's Children Charity
Hans Brings, broker and premier associate with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, cares about the local community and children and families in need – he also does something about it every day he goes to work.
“Hans is a new kind of philanthropist that blends his passion for helping others with his career,” said Jack Fucci, executive director of the Waltham YMCA. “He is committed to helping young families and professionals reach their dreams of home ownership, while at the same time, keeping those less fortunate on his mind as he is doing so.”
For every house sold by Brings, a donation is made to the “Hans Brings Results for Children’s Charities Fund.”
Then throughout the year, donations are distributed from that fund to charitable causes within the community, including the Waltham YMCA’s Annual Fund campaign.
“I am meeting with more philanthropic companies and individual donors who become involved and committed to the causes that are important to them every day, rather than only thinking about them once a year when they give a gift,” Fucci said. “Waltham is as vibrant a business community as it is a great place to live. Many charitable companies have come up with ways to donate their time, talent or treasure. This approach is not only beneficial to charitable causes like the Y, but also helps their employees connect to the community where they spend an enormous amount of time each week.
“We have board and committee members join our board. In addition, we receive gifts from companies that match their employee giving, been chosen their charity of choice, and have held employee volunteer service days. These local businesses, both large and small, when they get involved, make a real difference.”
The Waltham YMCA Annual Fund campaign is currently underway. The donations made to the fund enable the Y to provide scholarships to more than 600 local families and children in need to participate in summer camp, swim lessons, after school programs, teen programs, chronic disease prevention programs and Y membership, according to the organization.

Hans Brings Supports The Magical Moon Foundation
January 18, 2013 -- Hans Brings of Hans Brings Results Children's Charities Fund made a generous donation of $1,000 to Magical Moon, a foundation on the South Shore that supports children and families faced with cancer.
A client of Hans' recognized his strong desire to help organizations that aided children, and recommended The Magical Moon Foundation located in Marshfield, MA. The stories and videos posted on their site brought tears to his eyes; Hans instantly felt compelled to donate.
There are many magnificent organizations that support the cure to cancer, but none like The Magical Moon Foundation. The strength of this organization is in its core; the staff that supports these children and their families. It is a non-profit organization that dedicates its mission to lighten these children's inner strengths on fire and fuel their passions.
"Rather than kids fighting cancer, they become brave young Knights turning their struggles into motivation," as stated in their mission statement, "The magic behind the Magical Moon begins by encouraging children to find the warrior within. Throughout their journey, our children grow stronger and more centered, and they build lasting legacies through their courage and resilience."
Magical Moon has compiled a wish list that they use donations to help check off. Some of the items on the list include a "Yurt Company Platform Tent for families to stay in when they visit the farm and a complete Pilates Core Strengthening Equipment for a licensed therapist to use on site with our knights in the new therapy room we are building." Just to name a few, as every donation helps.
These children bring life to The Magical Moon Foundation; they are full of positivity and empowerment. As Knights of the Magical Moon Round Table, they vow to change the world in honor of their cancer. Help them on their mission.
Hans Brings Results for Children's Charities Fund supports YMCA
Press Release Aug 1, 2012 -
Drowning is the biggest risk to the safety and development of a child, but with supporters like Hans Brings, the Waltham YMCA will be able to offer financial assistance to more children to take swim lessons this spring and summer through the Y's 2012 annual Fund Campaign to increase water safety to local youth. The progressive swim lessons offered at the Y teach water safety skills and prepare kids for being around water during the summer.
"Charity has always been an important part of my life," Says Brings, a longtime realtor in the Waltham community. Hans has continually given back to the community through The Hans Brings Results for Children's Charities Fund. "I started my foundation as a solution to stay involved with an ongoing list of children's charities throughout the year. It started with a personal donation and I will continue to contribute to the fund for every home I sell. If my clients choose to contribute, I will match their donations dollar for dollar as well."
Executive Director of the Waltham Y, Jack Fucci, is very thankful for the support. "Community partners like Hans Brings help the YMCA carry out their commitment to providing as many opportunities as possible for everyone in our community to live safe, healthy and productive lives. Waltham Realtor Focuses on Charity this Holiday Season
Waltham Realtor and Vice President at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, Hans Brings, recently established the “Hans Brings Results for Children’s Charities Fund.” The goal of the fund is to continually provide financial assistance to children’s charities such as Toys for Tots, Home for Little Wanderers, The Genesis Fund, YMCA, Boys and Girls Club, Stanley Snowflake Program, and many more throughout the year.
Brings says, “Charity is an important part of my life and the holidays serve as a reminder that there are so many families in need. I started my foundation as a solution to stay involved with an ongoing list of children’s charities throughout the year. It started with a personal donation and I will continue to contribute to the fund for every home I sell. If my clients choose to contribute, I will match their donations dollar for dollar as well.”
The Hans Brings Results for Children’s Charities Fund recently donated $1,200 to the Stanley School Snowflake fund. The Snowflake fund is a charity effort sponsored annually by the William F. Stanley Elementary School Parents and Teachers Organization to provide holiday gifts to families in need at the Stanley School. The program has been conducted at the Stanley School since it opened in 2001, and at the Banks School before that.
Each year, Stanley School families in need are identified with the help of the School Adjustment Counselor. Families provide wish lists for items the students need or want. The lists include items such as clothing, winter outerwear, pajamas, shoes/boots and toys. Snowflake tags are created that list the item requested along with the gender and age of the child, and sizes for clothing/footwear as appropriate. Families and staff from the school take the Snowflakes, purchase the item, and drop it off at the school wrapped with the snowflake attached. Families remain completely anonymous to all but our School Adjustment Counselor.
Hans Brings has been successfully marketing real estate since 1990. He graduated Cum Laude from Bentley College and was awarded the title Vice President by Coldwell Banker for his sales achievements since 1996. In 2011, Hans was recognized as Coldwell Banker’s Top Selling Agent throughout New England and a "Top 100" agent of all Realtors throughout the country.
